As the creator of Flash of Heat, Flash curates a unique line of craft hot sauces that celebrate flavor, culture, and heat. From mild blends to fiery favorites, each bottle is a nod to culinary exploration and a passion for bold taste—perfect for heat seekers and flavor adventurers alike.

Flash’s dedication to understanding and honoring cultural differences began during his early years in the Navy, where he witnessed the underrepresentation of diverse voices in the intelligence community. Over a 20-year military career, he became a trusted figure in operational environments, known for his ability to bring people together and promote innovation through diverse perspectives. His leadership left a lasting impact at high-profile installations across the globe.

A firm believer in the role of genealogy to drive progress, Flash promotes ancestral awareness as a gateway to empathy, connection, and inclusion. His passion for genealogy extends beyond his professional work—he co-founded the Western Prince William County Genealogy Club alongside his family to help others explore their own family histories and cultural identities.
He is also deeply involved in honoring the service and sacrifice of U.S. veterans, using genealogy research to preserve the legacies of those who may otherwise be forgotten—especially those buried without proper recognition.

Flash is an active member of the National Genealogical Society and the Virginia Genealogical Society. He holds lifetime membership in the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), is a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and has served as President of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) – Denver Chapter and the Strength & Honor Motorcycle Club – Gray Ghost Chapter.

Flash resides in Haymarket, Virginia, with his wife, son, and their two dogs—Alyx and Obi-Wan (or just “Ben” if you're on a first-name basis).
